New 'Call Center' Uncovered, $80,000 in Illegally Obtained Funds Discovered

On December 12, 2025, a criminal investigation was launched by the Main Investigation Department of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee based on a report received from the National Security Service concerning the establishment or leadership of a criminal organization, participation in a criminal organization, and committing large-scale computer theft.

During the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, extensive operational searches were conducted by the NSS investigators in a 'call center' operated by the criminal organization and in the apartment of one of the individuals involved in the organization. As a result, approximately $80,000 in cash obtained through criminal means was found and seized, along with gold jewelry, computers, data storage devices, work mobile phones with camera sections obstructed by technical means, numerous lists of virtual phone numbers, calling scenarios, various messenger correspondences with victims, as well as photographs and personal data of the victims.

Documents detailing the scale of the thefts, distribution tables of the organization's members, and hundreds of cryptocurrency wallet passwords, accounts, and transaction details were also confiscated. The preliminary investigation is ongoing, focused on identifying the leaders and members of the criminal organization and assessing their actions legally.
