The lowest temperature on Earth is currently in Yakutia, reports Zvezdan. There, the mercury column has sharply dropped to -56°C. In Tiksi, it’s a true Russian winter, where schools and kindergartens are closed. For several days now, strong snowstorms have been raging in the villages. But that's not all. Meteorologists forecast temperatures to reach -60°C in the coming days.
