We Are in Constant Contact with America: Ukraine Will Not Obstruct, Says Volodymyr Zelensky

Ukraine continues to be in constant contact with the United States and is awaiting the next steps regarding the peace agreement. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared on Telegram.

Zelensky referred to the reports of National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov and Chief of Staff Andriy Kovalov following meetings with representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump.

“We are in constant contact with America. We feel that America wants to reach a final agreement, and we are fully cooperating. Ukraine has never been and will never be an obstacle to peace,” noted the Ukrainian leader.

According to him, Ukraine is actively working on agreements and ensuring that they are “realistic.”

“The key is that Russia does not disrupt this diplomacy. Otherwise, it is necessary to apply additional pressure on Russia. The world has all the tools to ensure that the pressure is effective and that peace prevails,” emphasized President Volodymyr Zelensky.
