Avinyan on Expected Surprises on New Year's Eve and the Metro Station Project

The simple examination of the new metro station project took a long time, so this year we did not manage to spend the main budget. This was announced by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a broadcast on Public Television.

"It is logical that we have redirected the unspent funds to acquire 45 12-meter long trolleys, which we will see in April-May," emphasized the mayor.

Speaking about the renovation of bus stops, Tigran Avinyan noted that at this point, screens have been installed at 40-42 bus shelters, displaying the minutes until the arrival of buses, and this process is ongoing.

The mayor also touched upon the festive atmosphere in the city: "On New Year's Eve, we will have fireworks and a drone show. We are not organizing it ourselves, but we are supporting an organization that has proposed to implement such a program. We try to mark important days in Yerevan with special splendor and beauty, which is pleasing not only to us—Yerevan residents—but also to visitors. Year by year, we strive to present new surprises," stated Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
