U.S. Special Forces Deployed Near Venezuela

The United States has sent several aircraft carrying special operations forces and military cargo to the Caribbean this week. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.

According to the publication, at least 10 CV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft used by U.S. special operations forces were dispatched from Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico to the Caribbean.

Additionally, C-17 cargo planes from Fort Stewart and Fort Campbell military bases have arrived in Puerto Rico. According to a U.S. official, these planes were transporting military personnel and equipment.
