Trump's Path Might Open as U.S. Politics Gears Up in Armenia, Analyst Says

The beginning of next year will be exceptionally active in Armenia regarding the implementation of American political policies. Political analyst Suren Sargsyan has made this statement.

“According to my information, a very high-ranking official's visit is expected in February. I do not rule out that Trump’s path might open formally as well. In this context, the information regarding the recall of the ambassador is particularly interesting. It is extremely important for me to understand whether the ambassador will remain in office during the high-ranking official's visit or if he will be replaced by a chargé d'affaires, as the likelihood of appointing a new ambassador in such a short period is nearly zero. I remind you that the highest-ranking American officials to ever visit Armenia have been the Speaker of the House and the Secretary of State,” the analyst noted.
