Trump Reaffirms Unconditional Support for Peace Processes

Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan has met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in the U.S.

During the meeting, which was held as part of an event organized for newly appointed ambassadors, Ambassador Mkrtchyan expressed gratitude to President Trump for his consistent efforts toward establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as for the historic agreement and signed documents reached on August 8 at the White House.

In turn, President Trump congratulated the Armenian people, emphasizing that they deserve sustainable peace and reaffirmed his unconditional support for peace-oriented processes.

President Trump also particularly highlighted the leadership of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his significant role in the established peace process. He presented Prime Minister Pashinyan with a personally inscribed gift as a token of high appreciation.
