Trump Considers Lukashenko's Proposals for Resolving Ukraine Issue
The Chairman of the Belarusian State Security Committee, Ivan Tertel, has informed President Alexander Lukashenko about new proposals from the American side regarding the resolution of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. This was reported by the BelTA news agency on its Telegram channel.
“This morning, I informed the President about the new proposals from the American side, which take into account the position of the Republic of Belarus, considering our President's stance aimed at the peaceful resolution of all disputes, particularly concerning Ukraine. Numerous global and regional issues, as well as bilateral relations, are being discussed,” he said.
On December 18, Lukashenko stated that the parties involved in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict are closer than ever to reaching a peace agreement. Moreover, he expressed confidence that Russia would control the entire territory of Donbas.
