Suspect Killed Ex-Wife Over Refusal to Clean Apartment, Investigators Say

During the investigation of a criminal case initiated on November 5, 2025, by the Shengavit administrative district investigation department of the RA Investigative Committee, it was established that V.K. fatally stabbed his ex-wife, A.H., multiple times with a kitchen knife following a dispute over her refusal to clean his apartment.

As a result of extensive procedural and evidentiary actions, it was confirmed that the altercation between V.K. and A.H. escalated, leading to the tragic outcome.

The investigation has resulted in public criminal prosecution against V.K. under Article 155, Part 2, Point 9 of the Criminal Code (murder committed by a close relative, partner, or ex-partner). As a preventive measure, he has been placed in custody.

The criminal proceedings have been forwarded to the supervising prosecutor with an accusatory conclusion.
