Foreign Intelligence Agencies Monitor the Deployment of 'Oreshnik' in Belarus
Foreign intelligence agencies are conducting extensive operations to continuously monitor the deployment process of Russian tactical nuclear weapons (TNW) and the state-of-the-art 'Oreshnik' missile system within Belarusian territory. This statement was made by the Chairman of the State Security Committee of Belarus, Ivan Tertel.
Tertel noted that the activity of foreign intelligence agencies was entirely predictable. “Foreign intelligence services are engaged in large-scale work to monitor the situation. We anticipated such developments,” he stated, as reported by the BELTA agency.
It is highlighted that both Russian tactical nuclear weapons stationed in Belarus and the advanced 'Oreshnik' missile system have become focal points, seen as critical factors affecting regional security.
Recall that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that since December 17, the Russian 'Oreshnik' missile system has been on the territory of the country and is now on combat duty.
