Aliyev: We Can Never Forget This in the Armenian-Azerbaijani Peace Process

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has stated that a peace process is currently underway between Armenia and Azerbaijan, with Azerbaijan as the initiator. “This is known to everyone and should be known. The first proposal came from us; we are the authors of the text of the peace agreement and all its included provisions,” Aliyev said.

He also noted, “How can we forget the 'occupation'? How can we forget our martyrs? How can we forget the victims of Khojaly and the deaths of other innocent people? We can never forget this and should not forget it.”
