You are too distracted, know your limits: Tigran Avinyan to opposition
Emotions ran high during the session of the Yerevan City Council when members of the "Mother Armenia" faction began to disrupt the speech of Artak Galstyan, a representative of "Public Voice." The situation prompted intervention from Mayor Tigran Avinyan, who issued a warning to council members.
"Continue to be excited, dear people, the warnings will escalate to other levels. When I say you are too distracted, I am speaking the truth. We might narrow your scope because you sometimes mix up your linguistic nuances. You confuse our modesty and restraint with other things," Avinyan said, cautioning those making interjections. "You have expressed yourselves for long enough; now be silent and listen carefully. Know your limits, and this is your final warning."
