US Embassy in Armenia Comments on Donald Trump's Decision

In response to inquiries from the media, we would like to inform that after three years of service, Ambassador Quinn will conclude her work in Armenia in mid-January. This was reported to AuroraNews by the US embassy.

“Following the departure of the ambassador, US policy in Armenia will not change. The United States remains committed to its partnership with Armenia and expects to see further developments in the strategic partnership between the US and Armenia, as well as the implementation of the bilateral agreements signed between President Trump and Prime Minister Pashinyan during the historic peace summit held in Washington on August 8,” the statement said.

It is noteworthy that President Donald Trump’s administration has decided to recall ambassadors and senior diplomats who are conducting diplomatic missions in about 30 countries around the world. Among those diplomats is also the Ambassador of the United States to Armenia, Christina Quinn.
