Armenia Ready for Mutual Cooperation within EAEU Framework for Sustainable Development, Says Pashinyan
Armenia is ready for mutual cooperation within the framework of the EAEU to promote sustainable development. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
In this regard, Pashinyan expressed gratitude to Azerbaijani President Aliyev for allowing the transit of goods through Azerbaijan. “I express my gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan for creating conditions for the launch of bilateral trade. This year has been particularly significant for international cooperation within the EAEU.
Armenia places special importance on the development of constructive dialogue with observer states of the union that are interested in cooperating with the EAEU. The unified services market improves the quality and competitiveness of suppliers, simplifies procedures, and creates a more favorable business environment. This sector must develop more dynamically as it directly affects the economic growth of EAEU countries,” he stated.
It is noted that in 2026, the presidency of the EAEU will pass from Belarus to Kazakhstan. The next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will take place on May 28-29 in Astana.
