Putin Will Never Try to Do That: Ruyten Appeals to Allies

NATO Secretary General Mark Ruyten has urged allies to increase defense spending and strengthen Ukraine to prevent a 'strike' from Russia on one of the alliance's countries. His remarks were reported by N-TV.

Ruyten once again warned about the alleged 'military threat' from Russia. 'To prevent the attack, Ukraine's 'strength' must be maintained, and Ukraine's defense spending must continue to grow. If we do these two things, we will be strong enough to defend ourselves, and Russian President Vladimir Putin will never try to do that,' Ruyten stated.
