Lukashenko Claims He Is Not Clinging to Power with 'Blue Fingers'

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has once again stated that he is not clinging to power with 'blue fingers.'

'The current president, as I often say, does not cling to power with blue fingers,' Lukashenko declared during the appointment of new leaders of the country's Prosecutor General's Office and Investigative Committee. His words were quoted by the BelTA news agency.

The state leader stressed that there should be no manifestations of 'revolutionary' struggle against the existing state order, as there are elections for a change of power. 'No encroachments can be made against the existing state order in terms of 'revolutionary' struggle. There are elections for that. We need to go to the elections and resolve these issues. In this regard, Belarus has everything,' Lukashenko emphasized.
