Russia Plans Collaboration with the U.S. in the Arctic, Says Kirill Dmitriev
Russia intends to develop cooperation with Washington in the Arctic, stated Kirill Dmitriev, the special representative of the Russian president for economic cooperation with foreign countries.
"We are planning to cooperate with the U.S. in the Arctic," he wrote on the X social network.
In October, Dmitriev announced the prospects of constructing an intercontinental tunnel between Alaska and Russia, utilizing technology from The Boring Company. He mentioned that the project's implementation would require up to eight billion dollars and that the tunnel could be built in less than eight years.
Dmitriev also noted that the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) has examined existing proposals, including the U.S.-Canada-Russia-China railway, and will support the most viable proposal.
