Major Theft Case at the Élysée Palace: Cultural Heritage Dishware Disappears
A theft case involving dishware has been uncovered at the French presidential residence, centered around an employee of the Élysée Palace. According to official reports, the individual illegally removed 100 pieces of porcelain dishware over the past two years, which were used during state receptions.
Some of the stolen items are registered as cultural heritage objects, adding significant importance to the case. It has been revealed that the employee transferred the dishware to an individual who had a collection of porcelain and worked at the Louvre Museum as a supervisor.
The theft was discovered when the shortage of dishware became apparent. During police raids, all the missing items were found in the possession of two men. By court order, those involved in the case are required to return the stolen dishware in full and are under judicial supervision. Both individuals have been dismissed from their jobs.
