U.S. State Department Cancels 85,000 Non-Immigrant Visas

The U.S. State Department has canceled 85,000 non-immigrant visas since January 2025 as part of President Donald Trump's campaign against illegal immigration. This information is outlined in the State Department's final report for 2025.

The report states, "The State Department has signed seven 'Safe Third Country Agreements' to expedite and simplify deportations, and has canceled more than 85,000 non-immigrant visas since January of this year." The agency also notes that attempts to illegally cross the U.S. southern border have decreased by 99% this year.

Previously, Trump announced plans to carry out the largest deportation operation of illegal immigrants in American history. The report also highlights the arrests of members of foreign terrorist organizations and drug traffickers by specialized units supported by the State Department.
