Over $2.5 Million Raised for Man Who Neutralized Terrorist on Sydney Beach

More than 43,000 people worldwide have contributed to the financial support for Ahmad al-Ahmad, an immigrant from Syria who managed to disarm one of the attackers during a terrorist incident at a beach in Sydney, helping to save dozens of lives.

As a result of the fundraising campaign, over $2.5 million has been collected. The check for this amount was presented to Ahmad al-Ahmad in the hospital where he is currently receiving treatment for injuries sustained during the attack.

It is worth noting that the terrorist incident at the Sydney beach resulted in the deaths of 15 people, with many others suffering various degrees of injuries.
