It Is Still Too Early to Sever Ties between Russia and OSCE, Says Deputy Foreign Minister
It is still too early to talk about the cessation of relations between Russia and the OSCE, but if Western countries use the organization to escalate confrontations, its fate will be undesirable, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“It is still early to sever our relations with the OSCE, from which we continue to have numerous complaints. Within the OSCE framework, a group of anti-Russian countries has formed, which seeks to push us out of the organization. We have no intention of falling for cheap provocations that correspond to their well-known policy of isolating Russia on an international level,” Grushko stated.
“At this stage, we see the main problem as the restoration of civilized, mutually respectful dialogue within the OSCE, as well as providing all participating states with objective information on key aspects of the international agenda, including developments in Ukraine,” he added.
