EU Summit Will Go Down in History as a Public Shame - Slutsky

The EU summit held in December will go down in history as a public shame. Intelligent European leaders did not succumb to the conspiracy, stated Leonid Slutsky, head of the State Duma's International Relations Committee.

It is noteworthy that the summit concluded in Brussels on Friday evening, resulting in the EU temporarily abandoning the confiscation of Russian assets and deciding to provide Ukraine with a €90 billion loan from its own budget. Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic reportedly did not participate in the process of providing the €90 billion loan to Kyiv.

“The December summit will go down in EU history as a public shame and somewhat a backdrop to von der Leyen’s precedent. However, there is no need to talk about a crushing defeat for the 'Eurohoxes.' The Central Bank of the Russian Federation's gold and foreign exchange reserves remain blocked in the EU for an indefinite period, and the struggle for their return is still ongoing,” Slutsky wrote on his Telegram channel. According to him, intelligent European leaders, who abide by the law and international law, did not succumb to the gang conspiracy of Russophobes.
