Russia Plans Military Cooperation Program with Six Countries
The Russian Federation intends to sign military and military-technical cooperation programs with six more countries by 2026. This was announced by Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov during a meeting of the expanded college of the Ministry of Defense.
According to him, by 2025, Russia has already confirmed military and military-technical cooperation programs with eight countries. This list includes Belarus as well as a number of Asian states.
Belousov noted that the signed programs pertain to planning bilateral cooperation in the defense sector, exchange of experiences, and military-technical directions. At the same time, he did not elaborate on the specific formats of cooperation or the list of new partner countries.
According to the official statement, the upcoming signings will continue Russia's policy of external military cooperation, based on bilaterally coordinated programs.
