Armenia to Receive 15,000 Duty-Free Electric Vehicle Quota: Papoyan
Ofelya
Armenia will receive a duty-free quota of 15,000 electric vehicles for the year 2026. This announcement was made by the Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan.
"The decision was recently made during a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Prime Ministers with the participation of Prime Minister Pashinyan," he stated.
It is important to note that earlier, Minister Papoyan mentioned that there are no quotas for duty exemptions for dealers and individuals, and if such quotas become available, they will be announced accordingly.
Additionally, in 2025, according to EAEU regulations, Armenia was granted an import quota of 8,000, of which 90% has already been utilized by the beginning of the year.
