I Suggest Taron Margaryan Take His Assistant Home to See What 'Lapel' Is, Says Simonian

Dear children, I would like to briefly introduce you to two members of parliament who are present today in the National Assembly's session room: one is Hakob Arshakyan, who is exceptional, reserved, outstandingly good, remarkably uncorrupted, and a great personality. The second person I wish to introduce is the former mayor of Yerevan, Taron Margaryan, whose assistant allows himself to write various impudent things in different places.

During a session of the National Assembly, Chairman Alen Simonian stated: “For example, he just wrote that they are decorating the Christmas tree with things from an expensive store and commented that they were 'lapping it up' until the end, Alen. Now, what do I suggest? I suggest Taron Margaryan take his assistant and go to their home, take him to Serzh Sargsyan's home or to the home of Sargsyan's son-in-law, or the other son-in-law's home, or his brother's home, so that this assistant knows what 'lapping it' means.”

“So, this concerns everyone, especially those absent from the Homeland Alliance, more or less talkative Facebook activists, actors, monkeys, and money dealers. Yes, we have adopted a code of ethics, but do not mistakenly think that your answer will be received within the boundaries of the law. Do not make that mistake; do not confuse our upbringing and sense of responsibility. I state this on behalf of my colleagues: the pre-electoral process is starting, do not be mistaken,” Simonian concluded.
