142 Criminal Cases Uncovered in One Day
During December 16-17, units of the National Police of Armenia uncovered 142 criminal cases. Specifically, 46 cases were related to the operation of a vehicle by individuals deprived of their driving rights, or whose driving rights were suspended or non-existent. Other cases included 15 instances of fraud, 13 cases of theft of personal property, 9 cases of physical assault, 8 drug-related discoveries, 6 instances of document forgery, 4 cases of bodily harm, and 3 cases each of hooliganism and violations of safety regulations.
Additionally, there were 2 cases each of psychological influence, destruction or damage to property, and illegal logging of trees and shrubs. Other uncovered cases involved residential theft, illegal entrepreneurial activities, computer theft, seizure of weapons and ammunition, drug trafficking, discoveries of cold weapons, violations of safety regulations, invasion of personal privacy, trade in counterfeit alcoholic beverages, baby food, dietary supplements, medications, herbal raw materials, excipients, medical products, or researched pharmaceutical products, as well as illegal circulation of firearms, major parts of firearms, military munitions, and other materials, devices, and objects.
From previous offenses, 4 cases of destruction or damage to property were uncovered, along with 1 case each of fraud and bodily harm. Eight individuals who were on the wanted list were identified, along with 2 missing persons. Over the past day, 25 traffic accidents were recorded, resulting in 33 individuals sustaining injuries of varying degrees.
