New Details on Son Who Killed Parents in Gyumri: Bodies Discovered After Door Was Opened

As previously reported, a brutal murder occurred in Gyumri where a son killed his father and mother, as reported by "Armenian Time." The Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has provided details about the incident, noting that the son has been arrested.

“On December 16, at approximately 10:10 AM, a citizen who called 911 reported that the door to the apartment at 37 Karen Demirchyan Street in Gyumri was locked and that relatives were not responding. As soon as the rescue services opened the door, they discovered the bodies of the couple residing at that address. Officers from the Criminal Police of the Shirak Regional Department arrived at the scene following the alert. It was determined that the 37-year-old man had stabbed his father and mother—64-year-old Sayad A. and 63-year-old Nazeli A.—resulting in their deaths. The man has been arrested, and the documents have been submitted to the investigative body,” the statement said.
