Residents Invade ‘Akunq’ Spring Area and Carry Out Unauthorized Actions: Veolia Water

Veolia Water has informed its customers and consumers that on December 11, residents of the Akunq community in the Gegharkunik region illegally invaded the area of the ‘Akunq’ water spring owned by Veolia Water and carried out unauthorized actions. As a result, water supply was halted in several streets of Vardenis city yesterday.

Similar actions were also taken today, December 12, causing water supply to be suspended from 3:30 PM until now in the streets of Yerevan, H. Arzoyan, Hambardzumyan, Azgaldyan, Romani, and Shahumyan in Vardenis city.

“Measures are currently being taken to resolve the issue and restore water supply,” reported Veolia Water.
