Armenia Can Import 700 Tons of Carbon Electrodes from China at Preferential Conditions

The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council has tasked the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Collegium with making a decision regarding anti-dumping measures on carbon electrodes from the People's Republic of China, establishing annual import volumes that will be exempt from anti-dumping duties.

“These volumes will amount to 700 tons for the Republic of Armenia, 1000 tons for the Republic of Belarus, and 1000 tons for the Republic of Kazakhstan,” clarified EAEU Trade Minister Andrey Slepnev.

The import of these goods, without anti-dumping duties, will be permitted within the annual volume limits established for the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, following the confirmation of their intended use.

According to the mandate, the issue should be reviewed by the EAEU Collegium by December 17, 2025.
