Additional Funds to be Allocated to Yerevan Chamber State Theater

According to a government decision, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports will receive a redistribution of funds from the state budget for 2025, resulting in additional resources being allocated to the Yerevan Chamber State Theater based on its actual generated income.

Under the approved program, theatrical organizations are funded at double the amount of their projected own income for the given year. According to this program, the organization is financed at twice the amount of its accounted own income from the previous year’s financial activities.

Based on the decision's justification, in 2024, the income generated from ticket sales at the theater amounts to 144,228,100 drams, which when doubled totals 288,456,200 drams. According to the preliminary expense budget for 2025, the Yerevan Chamber State Theater State Non-Commercial Organization has been allocated 259,742,000 drams. Following this recalculation, the Yerevan Chamber State Theater will receive an additional 28,714,200 drams.
