New US Visa Program for Wealthy Foreign Nationals for At Least $1 Million

U.S. President Donald Trump has launched a new visa program for wealthy foreign nationals who can pay at least $1 million for its acquisition. Announced by the President earlier this year, Trump’s 'Golden Card' is an immigration visa available to those willing to demonstrate that they will bring 'significant benefits' to the country. This is stated on the program's official website.

The card will provide applicants with a 'direct path to citizenship for all qualified and verified individuals.' This comes at a time when Washington is tightening its efforts against illegal immigration, including the deportation of illegal immigrants and the increase in fees for work visas.

If a company hires a qualified individual, it will be required to pay $2 million for its new employee's permanent residency. The program also entails a series of additional fees.
