Indonesia and Russia Discuss Visa-Free Regime Implementation

The Secretary of the Indonesian Cabinet, Tedi Indra Wijaya, has announced that Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Russian President Vladimir Putin have discussed the possibility of abolishing the visa regime between Indonesia and Russia.

“President Putin raised the issue of deepening humanitarian and tourism ties, which will facilitate direct flights between the two countries’ citizens and the abolition of the visa regime,” the cabinet secretary told reporters, according to the Indonesian ANTARA news agency.
