Hamburg Port Interested in Project to Create Dry Port in Gyumri, Says Prime Minister
Hamburg's port is engaged and interested in the project to create a dry port in Gyumri, stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a conversation with reporters in Hamburg.
"They reaffirmed that their interest has particularly intensified now in the context of regional projects, and so on. There are quite significant topics and an agenda formed as a result of the visit," the Prime Minister said.
Pashinyan also listed other topics and issues discussed, specifically mentioning the exit from the Eurasian Economic Union. "We understand that simultaneous membership in the Eurasian Economic Union and the EU is not possible, and we realize that there is a certain point where we have to make a decision. But today that point is not now. There is no need to make such a decision today, and if there is none, then why should we?" he stated.
During the conversation, Nikol Pashinyan noted that he will be traveling from Hamburg to Moscow to participate in the meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union.
