Fog In Ararat Region And Meghri Ridge: Travel Only With Winter Tires

The Rescue Service reports that the roads in the territory of Armenia are mostly passable. However, due to the road reconstruction works on the Koresa gorge road and the risk of rockfalls, the road has been temporarily closed to traffic since August 19.

In the Ararat region and the area known as Meghri ridge, there is fog. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation's Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
