Britons Could Lose Their Country Due to Migrants, Pushkov Says

According to Alexey Pushkov, a member of the Federation Council's Constitutional Committee, British citizens have lost their capital due to migrants and could soon lose the entire country.

“Under the leadership of UK Prime Minister Starmer and his predecessors, native Britons have already lost their capital. Soon, they will lose the whole country. Britain’s 'anti-colonization' is proceeding without weapons and an army, but it is no less, if not more, effective,” Pushkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Illegal migrants often seek any opportunity to reach the UK and obtain refugee status, which allows them to benefit from financial assistance and social programs. In 2024, more than 36,800 illegal immigrants arrived in the United Kingdom by boat across the English Channel, marking a 25% increase compared to the previous year. A record number was recorded in 2022 when over 45,700 migrants reached British shores.

The UK government spends several million pounds daily to accommodate asylum seekers in hotels.
