What is a $200,000 House That I Shouldn’t Have in 20 Years? - Serbuhie Galyan
The Minister of Justice of Armenia, Serbuhie Galyan, has addressed the issue of purchasing a home through a mortgage. She stated, 'I am repaying my loan because I studied well and I have a job that pays fairly well, which allows me to take out a loan and repay it while acquiring property.'
'Do you think that ministers and individuals like me, even if they are not ministers, would not have a respectable salary that allows them to repay a loan within 15-20 years? What is a $200,000 house that I shouldn’t have in 20 years? I should have as much as I can have, and so should everyone,' she added. 'I have never gone hungry, I am not now, and I will not be, because I have studied well, I have a good job, and I will have a good job tomorrow as well.'
According to the minister, it is essential to compare officials who acquire $200,000 property with those who buy properties worth $2 million or more without a justifiable income.
