Russia's Military Threat Against NATO Will Increase, Says Danish Intelligence Service

The Danish foreign intelligence service has acknowledged that there is no imminent threat of an attack by Russia. This is reported by RIA Novosti, citing data from the agency's annual report.

As Russian President Vladimir Putin stated earlier in October, it is impossible to believe that Russia is preparing to attack NATO; this notion is absurd and is being used to persuade Europeans.

According to the report, "Russia's military threat against NATO will increase, although currently there are no risks of military attack on the Kingdom of Denmark." Russia has been voicing concerns over NATO's unprecedented activity near its western borders in recent years. The alliance is expanding its initiatives, referring to them as measures to 'deter Russian aggression.'
