Snow Falls in the Area Known as 'Meghru Sar,' Amassia Region, and Dilijan

The Rescue Service reports that motorway conditions across the territory of Armenia are mostly passable. Due to reconstruction works on the Korer's Valley road and the associated risk of landslides, the road has been temporarily closed to traffic since August 19.

Snow is falling in the Vardenyats Pass, in the area known as 'Meghru Sar,' in the Amassia region, and in the city of Dilijan. There is fog in the Vardenyats Pass and the area of 'Meghru Sar,' as well as on the Artashat-Yerevan highway in the Ashtarak region.

The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations urges drivers to use winter tires exclusively when traveling.
