Rustam Bakoian Refuses to Comply with Court Decision: Edgar Ghazaryan

Edgar Ghazaryan, former head of the Constitutional Court’s staff, announced on Facebook: “Rustam Bakoian refuses to comply with the Court’s decision. The ‘Armenia’ faction of the National Assembly has initiated the process of forming a temporary commission on parliamentary ethics, at my request, to examine the behavior of Rustam Bakoian, a deputy from the ‘Civil Contract’ faction. This behavior was manifested not only during the session of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Human Rights Protection and Public Affairs when discussing candidates for the Human Rights Defender, but also in relation to the failure to comply with a court decision that has already come into force. I have submitted a report to the Prosecutor General of Armenia and the three factions of the National Assembly regarding this matter. The ‘I Have Honor’ faction of the National Assembly has expressed its willingness to support the process of creating the ethics commission.”
