Russian President Awards Captain Sergey Terzyan the 'Golden Star' Medal
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, presented 'Golden Star' medals to servicemen at the Kremlin, congratulating all Russians on the occasion of the Heroes of the Fatherland Day. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“Here, in the George Hall of the Kremlin, continuing the traditions established by Catherine the Great, bowing before the generations of heroes, we affirm and emphasize the inviolability of our country’s thousand-year history,” said the President of Russia during the ceremony.
Among the awardees is Captain Sergey Terzyan.
“Thanks to him, 8 enemy tanks, 5 infantry fighting vehicles, 6 armored personnel carriers, 3 armored vehicles, 5 combat armored vehicles, more than 150 units of automotive equipment, mortars, 9 self-propelled artillery installations, 14 drone control points, 6 strongholds, and enemy personnel were destroyed,” states the announcement.
