Defense Attorney of David Hambardzumyan Requests Judge to Provide Examined Information

The defense attorney of the detained mayor of Masis, Gayane Papoyan, has approached the judge in the case of David Hambardzumyan, Zhora Chichoyan. "I have applied to Judge Zhora Chichoyan, who made the illegal judicial act against David Hambardzumyan, to provide information regarding the serious and particularly serious cases that he examined and issued a ruling on (case numbers). The judge replied that he cannot provide such information. It is obvious that there is no need to keep the information on open cases confidential, and according to the law, I am entitled to receive the requested data, which I believe is evident, and there is not much more to say in this regard. Yesterday, I again approached the same judge, pointing out the relevant legal norms by which he is obliged to provide the information I requested. If he fails to do so, I will definitely protect my rights through a legal process by filing a lawsuit against him to compel the provision of information.

Note: Chichoyan is likely withholding the list of the cases he has examined to avoid highlighting the disproportionate punishment imposed on the innocent David Hambardzumyan among these cases.

Additionally, he indicated in writing that I can consult the requested information on the datalex website; however, he has not provided at least the data of the cases necessary for this consultation.
