We Will Do Everything to Strengthen the CSTO: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting in the Kremlin with the speakers of the parliaments of CSTO member states. Representatives from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan participated in the meeting.

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated, "Next year, Russia will assume the presidency of the CSTO. We will certainly do everything to strengthen the organization. And, as I recently told my fellow heads of state, our work will undoubtedly continue what our Kyrgyz friends have achieved. This will be a complete continuation of cooperation in all key areas, including strengthening defense capabilities and coordinating policies on military and military-technical cooperation."
