Trump: Zelensky Has Not Yet Revised Our Peace Plan Project

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed disappointment that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has not yet reviewed the peace plan proposal put forth by Washington. He made this statement before a ceremony at the Kennedy Center.

In response to a question about the next steps for the U.S. in the peace process, Trump said, “We have spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and we have spoken with Ukrainian leaders, including President Zelensky. And I must say, I am a bit disappointed that President Zelensky has not yet revised the peace proposal.”

According to Trump, Russia is “comfortable” with the U.S. proposals. “I think Russia would prefer to have the whole country if you think about it, but I believe Russia is comfortable with the peace plan. However, I am not sure that Zelensky is comfortable with it. His people like it,” the U.S. President stated.
