TRIPP Initiative Opens New Horizons for Armenia-U.S. Relations, Says Papoyan
The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, participated in an event organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham) on December 8. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
In his speech, Gevorg Papoyan emphasized the significance of the agreement reached in Washington on August 8, stating that it not only pertains to establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and opening communications but also creates new opportunities for the entire region.
“We are pleased to note that we are advancing the peace process with the world’s number one economy, the United States. Together, we are implementing major projects, particularly the TRIPP initiative, which allows us to discuss entirely new horizons and opportunities in economic relations between Armenia and the U.S.,” Papoyan mentioned.
The minister also addressed the “Peace Crossroads” initiative. During the meeting, the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, Kristina Quinn, also gave a speech highlighting the strategic directions and priorities that promote bilateral economic cooperation and institutional development.
