The Goal is to Preserve and Increase the Population of Our Country: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has deemed the growth of Russia's population as a primary objective.

“Of course, external challenges also affect demographics. At the same time, I again emphasize that our long-term historical goal is to preserve and increase the population of our country. Despite the current situation and objective difficulties, we must maintain this objective. Increasing birth rates, supporting families with children, and enhancing the longevity of citizens’ healthy lives are all key areas of our joint efforts,” Putin stated during a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.
