Snow and Rain Mix in Some Areas of Armenia: Details

As of December 7 at 18:10, snow is falling in the Vardenyats Pass, while a mix of rain and snow is observed in the Aragatsotn and Artik regions, according to the Road Department.

In the regions of Masis, Artashat, Ararat, Yeghegnodzor, Vayk, Sisian, Goris, Talin, Akhuryan, Aparan, Spitak, Dilijan, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Gavar, and Martuni, it is raining.

There is dense fog in the Vardenyats Pass with visibility reduced to 2-5 meters. Fog is also present in the regions of Artashat and Talin, as well as in the serpentine sections of Spitak and Dilijan, with visibility ranging from 100-150 meters.

All inter-state and national highways are open. Road construction teams are currently performing cleaning and treatment work using salt and sand on the roads.
