Minister Surbhi Galayan Addresses Concerns Regarding Aghababyan's Health Condition

The Minister of Justice of Armenia, Surbhi Galayan, has informed journalists that a lawyer will visit Aghababyan at her request, and will collect the necessary application from him. "There is no bureaucratic hassle and there cannot be any when it comes to a person's health. All that is required is for the individual to submit an application, and that application will be discussed, a response will be provided, and the necessary measures will be taken to preserve the individual's health. The application that needs to be submitted has not yet been filed; I have instructed that if his attorneys are unaware of how to submit the application, our lawyer will approach him today, collect the application, and submit it to the appropriate authorities," she said.

Speaking about the need for urgent surgery, she remarked, "At this time, no extreme health problems have been recorded. The moment the application is submitted, the relevant mechanisms will be put into action, and the person will receive the medical assistance and care they desire." She also emphasized that the health of any individual in custody is a matter of state concern.
