Marriage Rates in Armenia Decrease, Divorce Rates Increase

During the period from January to October 2025, the number of marriages in Armenia has decreased compared to the previous year, while the number of divorces has increased.

According to the Statistical Committee, there has been a reduction of 1,601 marriages during the first ten months of 2025 compared to 2024. A total of 13,175 marriages have been registered in the country.

The number of divorces has increased by 157 compared to January-October 2024. In the period from January to October 2025, there have been 4,033 registered divorces, up from 3,876 in 2024.
