Fog in the Vardenyats Pass and the Area Known as 'Meghri Mountain'

The Rescue Service reports that the roads within the territory of Armenia are mostly passable. Due to the ongoing reconstruction work on the Koreh Valley road and considering the risk of rockfalls, the road has been temporarily closed to traffic since August 19.

There is fog in the Vardenyats Pass and in the area known as 'Meghri Mountain'. Drivers are urged to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation from North Ossetia, the Stepanstmind-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.
