After the Renovation of 'Korean Gorge', It Will Become an Alternative to Davtashen Bridge: Avinyan

The inter-regional roads leading into Yerevan are being renovated. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced this on Facebook.

“Together with Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan, we have reviewed the ongoing renovation works on the section of the road called 'Korean Gorge' connecting Kanakeravan with the Arabkir administrative district. The road has been in a deplorable state for many years.

After the renovation, it will become an alternative to the Davtashen Bridge, which will significantly alleviate traffic in that area. We also reviewed the ongoing medium repair works on the road section leading to the village of Proshyan on the Yerevan-Armavir highway,” the post states.
